Summer has begun in NYC when the Met’s rooftop installation opens. (It did this Tuesday!) This year, Argentinian artist Tomás Saraceno took on the roof space, creating ‘Cloud Cities/Air Port City’ – a “constellation of large, interconnected modules constructed with transparent and reflective materials.” Saraceno merges art, architecture, and science to great a network of geometric pods that visitors can climb inside, viewing Central Park from unique views and reflections. The Museum also posted a great series of installation images, showing what an amazing feat it was.
