Sottsass Show

Renowned Memphis designer Ettore Sottsass’ late work can be seen this summer at Friedman Benda gallery in NYC.  The show, “A Survey, 1992 – 2007,” highlights something not commonly associated with the designer – his “heightened craftsmanship” – of the time, through ceramic, glass, wood, metal, and acrylic objects and furniture, in addition to prints and drawings. Showing in Chelsea through August 10.
