Bookish Beauty

Enjoying books in beautiful settings enhances the story. The new Francis Gregory Library in Washington D.C. is designed to do just that – create a lovely environment in which to appreciate books. The woven and porous, wood, glass and steel structure invites in light and the garden next door. As architect David Adjaye said, “Our mission, with the Francis Gregory Library, has been to offer a new way to experience books, reading, and storytelling.”
