Bookshelf: What We’re Reading (Cooking, Eating)

2012 was a great year for drool-worthy food-related books, including some wonderful classic glimpses into restaurants like Tartine’s boxed set, Phaidon’s look at Sweden’s Fäviken, and Ludo Lefebvre’s Ludo Bites, to name only a few. The wonderfully quirky and voyeuristic Edible Selby is another winner, as is Victionary’s Eat Me, a lovely collection of cutting-edge design for, with, and using food. Juniper’s Cooks Books collects five culinary classics, presented as a set, including the Joy of Cooking, American Cookery by James Beard.
